Gifts for a 2 year old

Treycen had a blast opening presents! I had the gifts from us wrapped and sitting on the table a few days before and it was killing him that he couldn't open them yet. I would tell him no and he would whine and say through tears, "Happy Birfday mine". So when we finally told him he could open them, he was so excited.
We let him open his presents on the morning of his birthday, but we waited another day to have cake so that all of his cousins could share it with him.
He got a rug with a road map on it to drive his brand new bucket of cars on. He got several books for church (mom's sanity) and a lace and trace kit,
He got the coolest tool set with hat and name tag as well. He hasn't stopped playing with them yet. I thought that the hammer would be a hit, but it was the screwdriver and the bolts that he has played with the most.
He is the luckiest boy and gandkid alive! He got presents from every side of the family. How spoiled! It's a good thing that we only stuck to a few things for him.
